On June 1, the North Glenora Blues proudly unveiled a remarkable commemorative display that chronicles the history of the Blues from 1965 to 1979. Through various photographs, artifacts, and texts, the display uses a timeline format to tell the unique story of the Blues. Over forty people were in attendance as the unveiling took place at the North Glenora Community League. Melissa Capbell, former president of NGCL, helped to organize the event and participated in the formal unveiling of the display. The commemorative display is an extension of our very successful documentary ‘A Ball and a Stick’ which was released in October 20222.
